Where Dreams Come to Life

The Walt Disney Family Museum Opens Oct. 1

It may seem a little unbelievable that this unique and oh-so-special attraction is opening in San Francisco. Los Angeles, Marceline, MO or Kansas City, even, would seem more likely. But go ahead, pinch yourself and call us plumb lucky. This museum, dropped into the middle of the historic Presidio, is a treasure trove of multi-media, obscure family momentos and tons of film and animation history. Not to mention a shrine to one of the great innovators of the 20th century. So book your tickets and get on down to The Walt Disney Family Museum. It’ll probably take more than one visit to take it all in. PLUS, there will be regular screenings of Disney films in the museum campus theater—starting with Fantasia (1940) which runs thru Oct. 17.

  1. Awesome. I’m glad I found this site just in time for the screening.
