I should also mention Derek Thompson and Ted Mathot from Pixar will be at the E-Ville Press booth for their books.

Gabriele Pennacchioli (Kung Fu Panda) will be there with his books The Young Minotaur and Animal Blog.

In addition to Eric Goldberg at the CAM, Enrico Casarosa writes in his blog:

Asian Art Museum Lecture
Ronnie del Carmen and I are gonna give a talk at the Asian Art Museum this coming saturday December 6th. The subject: “Totoro Forest - Miyazaki Hayao and his influence on western Animation”. We’ll talk about how the master’s body of work has influenced us personally and how it has managed to inspire a whole generation of animators and filmmakers around the globe. We’ll then delve into how that same inspiration Miyazaki has given us was harnessed into the celebrated fundraiser Totoro Forest Project. The lecture is free with Museum Admission ($12 regular ticket, $7 Students). Asian Art Museum members are always free.

Unfortunately, I've already made plans with a friend to see Jeff Smith in Concord at noon.

Best,

Steven

I just realized that the feature is different from the circus film and if it's far-out and shocking, I think it'll be a weird fantasy film.

regardless, you site is a good one. Keep up the fine work.
